Rho inni weledigaeth
Ar dy frenhiniaeth di
Sy'n estyn o'r mynyddoedd
Hyd eithaf tonnau'r lli;
Ni fynnwn ni ymostwng,
Yn rhwysg ein gwamal oes
Ond i'th awdurdod sanctaidd
A chyfraith Grist a'i groes.
Gwisg wisgoedd dy ogoniant
Sy'n harddach
fil na'r wawr,
A thyred i feddiannu
Dy etifeddiaeth fawr;
A thywys, o'th dosturi,
Dylwythau'r ddaear las
O grinder llwm anobaith
I deyrnas bur dy ras.
Dy eiddo ydyw'r orsedd
O oes i oes o hyd;
Ni syfl ei seiliau cedyrn
Yn nherfysg gwyllt y byd:
Pan syrth gorseddau'r ddaear
I'r llwch yn chwalfa sarn,
Bydd gorsedd dy gyfamod
Yn fywyd ac yn farn.

Tonau [7676D]: |
Give us a vision
Of thy kingship
That extends from the mountains
To the utmost waves of the flood;
We will not submit
In the presumption of our fickle age
But to thy sacred authority
And the law of Christ and his cross.
Wear the garments of thy glory
Which are a thousand times
more beautiful than the dawn,
And come to take possession
Of thy great inheritance;
And lead, by thy mercy,
The tribes of the blue-green earth
From the aridity of bare hopelessness
to the pure kingdom of thy grace.
Thine own is the throne
From age to age always;
Its firm foundations shall not shift
In the wild tumult of the world:
When the thrones of the earth fall
Into the dust as trampled waste,
The throne of thy covenant shall be
Life and judgment.
